We are looking to hire a Tax Manager with solid experience, an upbeat attitude, and a desire to grow and add value to our firm and to our clients.
Our client has over 400 clients spanning multiple industries and includes corporations, LLC’s, Partnerships, trusts, estates, non-profits and hi net-worth individuals. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
· Prepare corporate, fiduciary (complex, grantor, simple and split-interest), gift, individual, partnership tax returns, including preparation of work-papers and lead sheets.
· Prepare tax projections and related estimated payments with direction from management and owners.
· Research and consult with management on various client-related tax matters.
· Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
· Develop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as needed.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Masters in Taxation a plus.
· Licensed as a CPA.
· 5-year minimum relevant experience as a tax professional.
· Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
· Strong accounting and tax skills required.
· Experience using ProSystems and Engagement software is a plus.
