Our company is seeking a Technical and Product Support Engineer to provide second-level technical support to field service personnel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide information and data on the company’s products and hands-on training.
- Analyze company equipment at customer sites and address any issues.
- Collaborate with the design engineering team to ensure the maintainability and serviceability of new products.
- Handle malfunctioning equipment and collect and analyze data on equipment performance.
- Verify solution implementation.
- Coordinate support tasks to fix any customer requests or concerns.
- Prepare reports for customer visits, account performance, Field Service Reports, expenses, and inventory.
- Travel to domestic and international customer sites within an assigned region.
- Prevent any non-conformities relating to the product, process, or quality system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years experience in semiconductor manufacturing with an emphasis on thin film/CVD, ALD processes.
- BS in EE, ME, or similar technical field.
- Experience diagnosing and trouble-shooting electronic systems.
- Experience in engineering customer service.
- Excellent technical knowledge of the company’s process, equipment, vacuum systems, electro-mechanical systems, and semiconductor manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical training experience, a plus.
- Must be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally.
