Job Description

We are looking for a Product Manager/Product Owner who has a passion for entertainment, movies, and technology. Our front-end product management team is responsible for creating a cross-platform entertainment experience for our valued consumers. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional background launching streaming apps in iOS, Android, Web and/or 10’/OTT. They will also be able to work individually, with little direction, and be able to work well with stakeholders at every level. Also, they should be able to take their releases and deliverables from ideation to completion and management. Having an understanding of the evolving video streaming industry is very important as you will be working to deliver against a strategic product vision with short to long-term initiatives that create the ultimate user experience. Expectations and Responsibilities:

• Create and execute product releases against a multi-year roadmap
• Lead Scrum teams as a product owner and become a fully mastered agile leader
• Be the SME and champion of cutting-edge, original ways of thinking,
• Create and execute product ideas
• Lead a product team that manages multiple business systems from inception through execution
• Manage deliverables
• Define and articulate long-term strategies for cross-platform video streaming services, and develop the product vision and product roadmap working closely with stakeholders
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators as well as project cost, and communicate project status
• Stay current and up-to-date with emerging trends in the industry and keep informed of the competition
• Understand and communicate consumer behavior for existing products and features and leverage learnings for future releases
• Create product documentation including, but not limited to product requirements and use case definitions
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships among working teams and leadership across Engineering, Operations, Design, Marketing, Content, Finance and Legal

REQUIRED:

• 3 to 6 years of experience in managing and leading digital product development in client facing apps for iOS, Android, 10’, and/or for the Web
• Jira
• Product specific experience (delivering consumer apps) or consumer facing/web app experience (preferably streaming app or in entertainment industry)
• User experience intuition and understanding across different consumption platforms
• Must have worked on multiple platforms - cross platforms (a mix is good)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in agile development process (Scrum, Kanban) strongly preferred
• Undergraduate degree and Masters degree preferred. (preferably in CS, Engineering, Product Management, MBA, Consumer Research, Marketing, Design Thinking or related field).
• Understanding of digital products, specifically OTT, D2C, and streaming services

• Understanding of how to develop rapid prototypes, A/B testing, and iterative development practices
• Ability to interact and partner with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders in all levels of the organization on highly complex projects.
• Be self-motivated and accountable, owning projects from inception to launch.
• Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment and react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently to shifting priorities.
