We are a growing software company based in Vancouver, WA that's actively reinventing itself in the cloud. While we're currently the top business software in the Pool, Hot Tub, and Hearth industries, we're shooting for the moon as we re-launch with our new SaaS product.
Here’s a snapshot of what we want you to do:
The Accounting Consultant provides essential support and guidance to clients during the onboarding process for Evosus software products. This support likely includes helping clients set up their accounting processes within the software. On a day-to-day basis, the Accounting Consultant will troubleshoot and resolve complex accounting related client support cases both over the phone, email & video conferencing; through case management software as well as provide accounting training webinars to help the client achieve best inventory accounting practices for our ERP Softwares.
Here’s what you’ll be doing day to day:
- Work with the client during the onboarding process to understand their business operations, industry, size, and financial goals. Gather information about their revenue streams, expenses, inventory , and any unique aspects of their financial transactions.
- Work closely with the client to understand their business operations which is crucial for setting up the accounting module effectively.
- Identify and verify client reported problems, troubleshoot and resolve software application issues or triage issues to the Client Success Manager or Senior Account Manager.
- Understand and use general accounting terms & processes to assist clients with accounting-related questions and businesses processes
- Understands all phases of inventory management.
- Achieve set consulting sales goals on a Quarterly basis
- Track and document client support inquiries & related activities in an internal tracking system.
- Document & Detail clear and easy to understand follow up communications with clients regarding consulting engagements
- Qualify non accounting consulting opportunities to the appropriate Account Manager for fulfillment.
- Provide written documentation detailing solutions and assist with documentation for training purposes.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly (verbally and in writing) to individuals with varied technical backgrounds and skill levels.
- Monitor assigned accounting cases in your queue and process in the order received using the priority process and Service Level Agreement.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. The employee may also be required to work extended hours or weekends in order to meet deadlines or travel.

Required Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree or certification in Accounting or related field or 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles & practices (A/R, A/P & General Ledger).
- Solid understanding of business inventory management.
- 1 or more years of relevant experience working in customer support, preferably for a software company.
- Troubleshooting & time management skills.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, where it may be ambiguous at times and you are able to problem-solve independently
- Exude professionalism, ability to articulate professionally when speaking to clients on the phone, as well as internal clients
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
- 2 or more years of business operation experience in retail or service management.
- Experience with specialty retail or field service business.
- Familiarity with HubSpot CRM Platform.

- $28.00-$38.00 per hour. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the compensation range based on their qualifications and professional experience, as well as the needs of our business.
