Responsibilities: • Create a competitive sales culture and attract and retain the highest caliber talent in the industry. • Oversee and lead the direct sales and revenue generation strategies • Develop and implement sales systems and strategies to improve the financial performance of each hotel. • Motivate and lead the Vice Presidents, Sales, to ensure resources and priorities are in line. • Build a career development and succession plan within the sales organization. • Ensure effective and appropriate communication is maintained between the management company, properties, brand partners, and owners. • Strong understanding of direct sales, marketing, revenue strategy, sales technology, and best practices. • Expert understanding of national hotel brands’ sales resources, operating systems, and requirements, as well as 3rd party distribution channels and marketing platforms. • Participate in the development of operating budgets that are aggressive but achievable and are in line with the expectations of the owner. • Travel to and participate in individual property, owner, • Extensive sales & marketing experience in the hospitality industry, 10+ years. Qualifications: • Proven track record in senior leadership, P&L management, and multi-property oversight. • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills. • Experience with various brands and hotel segments. • Motivating leadership style, company brand champion. To be considered for this position you must have 10 or more years of hotel sales and marketing leadership experience. Full service experience. Multi unit experience supporting in excess of 50 or more hotels.
