Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager
Ewing Irrigation has a opening in a new position as a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager within the information technology department. The ideal candidate will help Ewing move to a data-driven decision-making process by mentoring other business analysts, helping Ewing develop structured methodologies, and setting actionable goals in an agile development process.
Responsibilities:
Mentor other business analysts for continuous learning and improvement.
Develop structured methodologies for assessments of client business processes.
Translate complex data and analysis into an easily understood formats.
Oversee software projects through an agile software development life cycle.
Supports troubleshooting efforts related to application development and end-to-end problem solving.
Help create and establish best practices pertaining to business processes.
Participate in and lead project objectives, solution recommendations, scope development, estimates, and proposals.
Lead cross-functional teams focused on specific work streams of large projects.
Develop detailed project plans, work assignments, target dates, and other aspects of assigned projects.
Demonstrate system wide analytical thinking.
Work in partnership with stakeholders to develop a solid knowledge of business processes and needs.
Facilitate meetings, prepare reports and present important information to decision makers in the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Project Management, or another related field is required
8 years of related experience is required
Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, derive insights from data, and communicate with diverse teams
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
Demonstrated management of small teams
Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, complex technical projects
Knowledge of Agile methodologies
Knowledge of SQL a plus
