    Position Overview

    The Ewing CDL Driver serves as the front line for customer relations, customer service, daily vehicle maintenance, and branch operations. We are seeing an energetic, goal oriented, customer service minded individual for our Commercial Driver – Class A licensed position. This full-time position consists of local commercial deliveries with a Class A dump truck, no overnights, with hourly pay.

    Essential Responsibilities

    Properly load merchandise on vehicles and make sure they are secured according to DOT regulations

    Transport merchandise to the intended destination

    Unload merchandise at the customer’s jobsite

    Carry out daily equipment inspections to ensure operations run smoothly and safely

    Follow all safety and vehicle inspection requirements in compliance with state/federal safety standards

    Maintain all necessary DOT logs and documentation

    Perform other duties as assigned, such as stocking, order entry, shipping/receiving, etc.

    Abilities You’ll Possess:

    Demonstrate a positive attitude, honesty and integrity

    Professional and friendly

    Good communication skills

    Ability to lift 50-70 pounds

    Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Current CDL License

    Acceptable driving record

    Possess a Driver Medical Card

    Landscape/Irrigation experience a plus

    On the job training provided (for the right candidate)

    2+ years Class A CDL experience preferred

    Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred, but not required
