    Job Description

    OUR CLIENT IS A MAJOR DESIGNER AND MANUFACTURER OF SENSOR TECHNOLOGY FOR THE AEROSPACE FIELD. WE ARE SEARCHING FOR A BRIGHT AND PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE TO JOIN OUR CLIENT’S MAIN OPERATION IN THE CITY OF CHATSWORTH, CA.

    THIS IS A FULL-TIME, TEMP-TO-HIRE POSITION. FIRST SHIFT, FROM 6 AM TO 2:30 PM. MONDAY TO FRIDAY.

    This is a traditional customer service position with data entry and a dose of logistics thrown in. You, as the Customer Service Representative, will be responsible for providing customers with pricing, delivery, and product information, as well as answering any questions or concerns they may have.

    YOU WILL ALSO

    • Monitor calls and forward specialized requests to the right department
    • Working with departments to resolve any big questions or concerns the customer might have
    • Working with Customers, as well as Federal, State, and Local regulators and giving quote information.
    • Processing part numbers into the company system.
    • Act as a liaison between the customer and various departments within the company
    • Occasionally acting as the contact for returned Airborne/Warranty parts while following guidelines
    • Other tasks as assigned.

    THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOUR CANDIDACY:

    • Must have previous Aerospace Manufacturing experience
    • You have at least 1 year of previous Customer Service experience
    • You have at least 1 year of heavy data entry experience, specifically in high-volume orders. Manufacturing is preferred.
    • You have a High School Diploma or a GED. A higher level of education would be great.
    • You talk well on the phone
    • You communicate well, and you can relay information consistently to coworkers and customers
    • You exhibit great attention to detail
    • You can read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English
    • You are proficient in MS Office products like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Bonus points if you are bilingual in either Spanish, Mandarin, or French
