Experience and Skills:
• Operate hand and power tools including air hammers, earth tampers, small mechanical hoists, and other equipment.
• Excavate, back-fill, and compact soil efficiently.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist in installing sewer, water, and storm drainpipes.
• Load and unload construction materials and move materials around job sites.
• Maintain equipment and manage paperwork.
• Assist with traffic control.
• Perform other job responsibilities as assigned. **

Experience and Skills:**
• Proven experience as an Excavation Laborer or similar construction role.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and their safe operation.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions.
• Awareness of all safety procedures and regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record. **

Physical Demands:**
• Sitting for prolonged periods at a desk while using a computer.
• Typing and using a mouse frequently throughout the workday.
• Lifting and carrying light office supplies, such as paper or small packages, typically weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Reaching and bending to access file cabinets and shelves.
• Using a telephone for extended periods to communicate with customers and employees.
• Visual acuity to read and interpret documents, emails, and computer screens.
• Hearing ability to understand and respond to customer inquiries and communicate with colleagues.
