We are looking for an experienced Excel specialist to secure and protect an accounting workbook.

Project Requirements:

Lock all accounting formulas and calculation cells.

Keep designated data-entry cells editable.

Protect worksheets from unauthorized changes.

Hide formulas where appropriate.

Protect the workbook structure from unauthorized changes.

Ensure authorized users can continue entering accounting data without affecting formulas.

Review the workbook for formulas that could accidentally be overwritten.

Set up clear instructions for authorized users to make future formula changes when necessary.

Preferred Experience:

Advanced Microsoft Excel

Financial/accounting spreadsheets

Excel workbook and worksheet protection

Formula security

VBA/macros if needed

Experience working with business accounting workbooks

The completed workbook must be tested to confirm that regular users cannot modify protected formulas while authorized users retain the necessary access.
