    Under the direction of the Corporate Director of Sales and/or Area Operations Manager(s), the Sales Manager generates new sales, maintains and services existing customer base, and achieves the budgeted revenue goals for the hotel(s) to which they are assigned.Responsibilities

    Spends more than 50% of workday/week away from the office prospecting new sales leads by identifying, developing, and maintaining professional relationships with key clients and associations.

    Identifies and seeks out potential business in local market. Maintains relationships with local companies and key people to increase the hotel’s visibility within the local market.

    Focuses prime selling time (10a – 3p) on direct sales efforts only.

    Creates and manages sales solicitations and presentations specific to assigned properties/brands.

    Negotiates all aspects of the sales contract to leverage profitability while also achieving client’s expectations.

    Maintains positive STAR report numbers in areas of occupancy, average daily rate, and Revpar.

    Qualifications

    Requires a minimum of 3 year(s) of hospitality sales and or management experience

    Ability to organize multiple projects; manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality.
