Responsibilities of the LPN or Registered Nurse in a School Setting:

· Implement and follow the Care Plan for each client, and obtain MD orders as appropriate.

· Provide medication administration, and perform treatments as ordered.

· Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes.

· Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor.

Qualifications of the LPN or Registered Nurse in a School Setting:

· Must be currently licensed as an LPN in MA.

· Previous experience as an LPN is preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.

· First aid/CPR certification required.
