    Job Description

    We are a fast growing PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY looking for a highly motivated IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our Corporate office located in DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Provide day to day support and customer service of local and remote users.
    • TROUBLESHOOT SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE FAILURES and IDENTIFY NETWORK PROBLEMS when they relate to desktop or laptop computers and peripherals.
    • Maintain backup systems and security updates.
    • Run diagnostics to resolve issues.
    • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
    • Respond to breakdowns.
    • Troubleshoot and repair network/connectivity/printing issues.
    • Able to travel and support our other properties throughout California.
    • Set up the new user accounts.
    • Support the installation and configuration of routers, switches, network hubs and other network peripherals.
    • Organize and keep an inventory of all software and hardware.
    • Follow company guidelines about e-mail usage, disk space allocation, access rights and restrictions and network security policies.
    • Assist with Compliance Audits and tracking.
    • Identify areas of improvement and create new mechanisms to promote efficiency, organization, and accuracy.
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the IT Manager.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT related field.
    • A minimum of 1-2 years of PC hardware and support experience in WINDOWS 10 (Information Technology support role).
    • Familiarity with business technology peripherals such as copiers, printers, scanners, projectors etc.
    • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to prioritize work to meet the needs of the company.
    • Ability to quickly gain skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges.
    • Working knowledge of networking concepts and various software packages.
    • Experience with WINDOWS and MICROSOFT OFFICE.
    • Experience and familiarity with MS SERVER 2016 and ACTIVE DIRECTORY.
    • Knowledge and experience in MOBILE DEVICE MANAGEMENT (e.g., SAMSUNG MDM), TSHEETS TIME TRACKER APP, DROPBOX (Enterprise or Business program) and CCTV are a plus.
    • Must have a valid driver's license.
