    Job Description

    The SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Analyst role is to efficiently identify, define, design, and implement business information systems in support of winery business users in the effective use of SAP sales and operations planning technologies. Goals for the position include integrating IBP via projects and regular on-going support to SAP and related supply chain systems to deliver savings in capital inventory expenditure while meeting business expectations.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    As an IBP Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining the S&OP systems, configurations and supporting integration of data from other existing systems. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing process and system improvements.

    • Understanding business needs and leading thoughtful design discussions around meeting those business needs in a standard manner fully leveraging SAP product capabilities. Provide project leadership as necessary.
    • Working with business analysts and business personnel to understand supply chain, sales & operations planning (including production planning and scheduling).
    • Collaborate with the supply chain manager. Translate customer needs to business requirements.
    • Implement system changes to align with business requirements. Maintain project records and status reports, as well as a record of changes and additions to the system in order to provide an audit trail for subsequent use.
    • Manage the configuration, definition and usage of key figures in the IBP S&OP tool.
    • Provide high-level flow charts, documentation, and presentations showing design, scope and resources required for management approval.
    • Provide detailed documentation and/or presentations to users for systems design and resulting programs for review, build, testing, and approval.
    • Assist users and other IT staff members in troubleshooting problems to satisfactory conclusion.
    • Design and maintain interfaces to other systems for efficient processing.
    • Participate in change-management processes including requirements development and refinement, analysis, solution design, development, unit/functional testing, user acceptance, testing, and transports move/support.
    • Regression testing of related or overall system functionality affected or at risk by change(s).
    • Analyze current systems and provide senior management with alternative methods if necessary.
    • Provide guidance, documentation methodologies, development specifications, and system information to contractors or consultants as necessary.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    REQUIRED

    • Education: Business degree with manufacturing/APICS certifications desired
    • Experience: Minimum of three to five years' experience as S&OP analyst with primary focus on IBP configuration. Additional knowledge of SAP MM/PP module in support of IBP data integration services.
    • Able to comprehend and synthesize project requirements into a plan of action, facilitating agreement of managers and co-workers to project, enhancement and on-going support needs through discussion, training, and hands-on demonstration.
    • Experience guiding and implementing industry best S&OP practices.
    • Familiarity with change management process and SDLC process
    • Experienced in building strong working relationships with business, and collaborating with team members to drive results.
    • Able to facilitate, clarify and drive decisions independently, under frequent deadlines.
    • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. – Emphasis on self-starting, and multi-tasking with deep commitment to individual responsibility and accountability.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).

    DESIRED

    • Additional experience with IBP Demand Planning module and/or IBP HCI Integration tool.
    • Significant experience in specifying, developing, and maintaining interfaces.
    • Familiarity with SAP BW & SQL Server, IBM iSeries, Data Services
    • Experience in the consumer products industry.
