    Job Description

    This position will specialize in SharePoint and Office 365 administration. The System Engineer will be responsible for administrating, analyzing, documenting, backing up, increase performance of both SharePoint application and content sites. Strong emphasis is on backend administration, high availability and disaster recovery. This position will also be responsible for administering Office 365 tenants, including billing, identity administration and security, analysis and deployment of new features, and external connectivity.

    This position will be an individual contributor to Infrastructure team and will work very closely with the Development, Infrastructure and Training Teams and reporting to the Infrastructure Architect.

    focuses primarily on LOB (line of business) applications with emphasis on Microsoft and SAP technologies.

    · Advanced expertise in SharePoint administration including capacity planning, upgrades, service packs, ordinary maintenance, security, disaster recovery, performance enhancement.

    · Primarily responsible for the maintenance of existing SharePoint farms, both on and off premises.

    · Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and ability to manage the SharePoint databases.

    · Actively contribute to the usage of SharePoint, including Business Data Connectivity Service’s applications, Secure Store Applications, User Profile Synchronization task, Search, Flow and PowerApps, and SSRS reports.

    · Administer and provision Office 365 and Azure AD with particular emphasis on security and features administration.

    · Have experience with cloud and hybrid cloud Office 365 deployments, issues and best practices such as capacity planning, billing and identity management.

    · Stay current on Office 365 products and options and analyze for applicability to TFE’s environment.

    · Design, build and manage hybrid configurations between on premise Office 365 using Dir Sync; Federating Active Directory between on premise and Azure.

    · Strict adherence to standards and procedure and ability to contribute to the creation of new ones.

    Desired Functions:

    · Versed with Windows technologies, including Active Directory, Window Server, and Microsoft SQL Server. SCCM and client management a plus.

    · Experience managing Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft on-line platforms.

    · Good knowledge of scripting (batch, PowerShell, etc).

    · Review and collaborate with other engineers on a variety of IT topics and projects.

    · Fully versed with Microsoft support resources.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

    · 3+ years proven success as a SharePoint Administrator or System Engineer required.

    · 5+ years proven technical experience with Microsoft core technologies.
