Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Bank Operations Assistant to support executive leadership while actively contributing to bank operations and technology initiatives. In our small-institution environment, this role goes beyond traditional administrative support and is ideal for someone comfortable working across operations, back office, and basic IT support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the President
Support core banking systems, online/mobile banking, and basic IT functions
Assist with system updates, testing, vendor coordination, and troubleshooting
Support back-office operations, data management, and reporting
Assist with bank-wide initiatives, audits, exams, and special projects
Cross-train and provide coverage for back-office and CSR functions as needed
Qualifications
Banking operations experience required
Working knowledge of core banking systems (Fiserv Cleartouch preferred)
Basic understanding of IT systems, data management, and system support
Familiarity with banking regulations (Reg E, Reg CC, BSA/AML)
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced, small-bank environment
