Preface: This is a job posting for the most important position we have filled in a couple of years! While we know that most people will not read this post in its entirety because of its length, that is okay; we know that we're not the right fit for everyone. We also know that most people who apply on job websites are looking to apply for as many jobs as possible in the shortest amount of time possible, whereas we want someone who wants to work hard to find the right company in hopes they will be there for double-digit years!

Company Intro: FEFA Financial (FEFA) is a federally registered Financial Advisory. We are a very unique company, especially within the financial industry. We do many things differently, and we are proud of that. Our number one priority has nothing to do with maximizing profits, and it never will. Our number one priority is hiring the right people who believe in and live our Core Values because we know that if we do, everything else will fall into place (Core Values are listed at the end of this posting). We know that this approach leads to a better product for our Clients and a work environment that people can't see themselves leaving. To sum it up, we are the weirdos in our industry and make our culture a top priority.

Position Description: Above, everything is written as "we" because some of the above is included in all of our job postings, but I will transition it to "I" for the rest of this job posting. My name is Patrick Stradtman, and I am the COO of FEFA Financial. I'm looking for an Executive Assistant and hope to find someone who is:

    1. Willing to dive into things foreign to them
    2. Able to solve problems on their own
    3. Able to find problems and inefficiencies in workflows
    4. Anxious about things slipping through the cracks
    5. Comfortable holding others accountable
    6. Honest, full of integrity, and trustworthy

I care about how well we gel and the six attributes listed above. In this role, you will have a hand in all aspects of the business, as well as an impact on dozens of employees, and through how you interact with them, you will have an impact on thousands of Clients. You will be a big part of maintaining our culture, day-to-day operations, and large and very difficult decisions. To sum it up, you will be an extension of the COO.

I hope this did not scare away every applicant, but do hope it scared away the wrong ones. This job is one that has a massive impact on the lives of others, and I can almost promise you will never find a company or coworkers that care about you more than those at FEFA. If you are still reading this post, please do two things. First, please remember the word Ringo because I will ask in your interview what the word to remember was due to this being a position that requires a high degree of attention to detail and second, look at our "why" and our Core Values below, and if you can align with those, please apply for this position and fill out the short questionnaire we send you! If you wanted to see a more standard rundown of responsibilities, skills, and experience, you can find those directly following our Core Values below.

FEFA's Why: Because people deserve better

    Core Values:

    1. Start with why: Motives matter
    2. Good isn't good enough: Don't settle
    3. Winners win: Don't be entitled. Don't make excuses. Just win!
    4. Embrace change: The only constant is change
    5. Name on the front > name on the back: Put the team first
    6. It's gotta be fun: Life's too short to not enjoy what you do
