Divorce. Custody battles. Loss. Death in the Family. You’ll be the calm, capable voice guiding people with grace and professionalism and supporting the attorney who manages the entire firm. Helping the CEO to set priorities, stay organized and keep her informed. 💼 What You'll Do: • Keep the CEO on track by managing calendars, emails, travel, and appointments • Coordinate meetings, events, and firm outings with style and precision • Handle personal and professional errands with care and confidentiality • Research various opportunities for the best alternative and present them to the CEO in an organized manner • Act as gatekeeper for the CEO and manage those people who want access to her • When the front desk is vacant, be the welcoming face and voice of the firm—phone, front desk, converting leads to clients, taking payments, and beyond • Create spreadsheets, track marketing efforts, and encourage client reviews • Be a problem-solver and detail keeper • Collect payments, process mail, and keep files and schedules perfectly organized • Jump in wherever needed to keep operations smooth and clients happy 🌟 What You Bring: • 4+ years of office experience with stellar reliability and professionalism • Calm under pressure and a compassionate listener • Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and Excel; QuickBooks is a plus • Comfortable juggling calendars & calls & interruptions • Friendly, polished communicator with top-tier organization skills • Positive attitude and eager to support a team on a mission • Available Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM and able to stay late if needed (on-site required) 💖 Why You’ll Love It Here: At South Texas Family Law Group , we don’t just practice law—we fight for justice and restore peace to our clients and their children during life’s most critical transitions. Responsibilities: • Schedule appointments and ensure the business calendar is accurate and up-to-date • Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc. • Plan for company trips and outings and provide itineraries to ensure off-site activities are a success • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and handle deliveries • Keep the front office secure by ensuring all visitors follow the proper sign-in procedures • Must be willing to handle various personal errands on a regular basis as well. • Handle public relations for CEO and for the firm • Help set priorities and time management. • Always maintain confidentiality and discretion. • Always looking for ways to improve systems and efficiency • Make multiple follow-up calls, emails, and text messages. • Produce simple Excel spreadsheets and enter client contact information. • Engage in marketing activities and seek customer reviews. • Collect money. • Keep files organized. • Keep the CEO organized. • Be the problem-solver, detail keeper, and reminder. • Be a girl- or guy- "Friday" - the one who gets things done. Qualifications: • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations • 1+ year of front desk receptionist experience or related job experience preferred • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational, and customer service skills • High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent • Able to be a compassionate listener. • Must be available to work onsite Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:30. • Must have at least 4 years of relevant office experience. • Must be professional in speech and dress. • Must be reliable and consistent in attendance. Compensation: $40,000 yearly
