    D. Kent Consulting Group, LLC (DKC Group) seeks a proactive and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide seamless administrative support to a dynamic executive team of three. This role demands a professional who can manage multiple tasks independently, handle shifting priorities, and maintain smooth operations for the executive team. Key responsibilities include managing complex calendars, arranging travel and expenses, preparing materials for meetings (such as research, agendas, and presentations), and attending meetings to take notes and track follow-up actions. As the primary point of contact for the executives, the Executive Assistant serves as a gatekeeper, minimizing interruptions to their workflow. This position also involves managing the executive’s email, prioritizing messages, and responding on their behalf when appropriate. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently under pressure, handling a wide range of tasks and sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.

    Key Responsibilities

    Act as a gatekeeper and first point of contact for the executive to reduce significant interruptions to their workflow.

    Optimize an executive's time and handle strategic projects.

    Leverage understanding of the federal government and related job experience to prioritize an executive's time, anticipate needs, and address issues before they arise.

    Design and improve internal business processes that increase organizational efficiency and performance, ensuring tasks and assignments are completed on time.

    Maintain relationships and communications with senior direct reports and other key stakeholders.

    Prioritize and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the Executive, including those sensitive or confidential. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

    Serve as a communicator and barometer between the Executive's office and internal departments: demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.

    Provide leadership to build relationships crucial to the organization's success and manage various special projects for the Director, some of which may have an organizational impact.

    Complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgment letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CXO's ability to lead the organization effectively.

    Prioritize conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressure.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's degree required

    Minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience supporting C-Level Executives, preferably with experience working in the federal government or public sector

    Experience and interest in social media communications.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Tool Set (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
