PORT Waterfront in Greenport, NY, is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead a high-volume coastal kitchen through peak summer service on Long Island’s East End.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef who thrives in fast-paced environments and leads with clarity, discipline, and respect.

Schedule
• 10–12 hour shifts
• 5 ½ days per week
• Nights, weekends, and holidays required

Responsibilities
• Lead daily kitchen operations in high-volume service
• Oversee food cost and labor management
• Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory
• Develop and execute seasonal menus
• Train and mentor a team of 10–15 kitchen employees
• Maintain strong purveyor relationships
• Enforce food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
• 5+ years senior kitchen leadership in high-volume restaurants
• Strong seafood and grill background
• Proven P&L management experience
• ServSafe certification required
• Calm, decisive leadership style
• High standards with a collaborative approach
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work extended shifts
