Position Summary - We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The Executive Chef, under the direction of our Culinary Director, will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu development, food quality, cost control, and staff management, ensuring high standards of culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory, and sanitation
Develop innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant’s vision and brand
Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards
Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment
Manage kitchen budgets, including food and labor costs, and implement strategies to maximize profitability
Source high-quality ingredients and maintain strong relationships with vendors
Monitor and enforce food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, purchasing, and reporting
Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale dining environment
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food costing, and inventory management
Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation and excellence
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of current food safety regulations and best practices
