    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chef to lead the culinary operations for both Tito's Italian Grill and Taphouse Unchained. This dual-restaurant leadership role requires a dynamic chef with a passion for food, team leadership, and delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences across two distinct restaurant concepts.

    As part of the larger Coeur d'Alene Resort and Hagadone Hospitality culinary team, the Tito's/Taphouse Executive Chef will set the standard for culinary excellence, drive innovation, and uphold a culture of professionalism and hospitality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all culinary operations for Tito's Italian Grill and Taphouse Unchained, ensuring quality, consistency, and creativity across both venues.

    • Lead, mentor, and manage all back-of-house staff, fostering a positive, professional, and team-focused kitchen environment.

    • Develop and maintain unique and seasonally driven menus that reflect each restaurant's individual concept and brand identity.

    • Manage food purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory, and cost controls for both locations.

    • Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards in all kitchen areas.

    • Collaborate with front-of-house managers to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

    • Monitor labor and food costs, forecasting and budgeting to achieve operational targets.

    • Maintain open communication with resort and hospitality leadership, providing updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of executive-level culinary leadership, preferably across multiple concepts or high-volume operations.

    • Culinary degree or equivalent formal training strongly preferred.

    • Expertise in both traditional Italian cuisine and modern American gastropub fare.

    • Proven success in menu development, team leadership, and kitchen operations.

    • Strong understanding of food and labor cost controls, kitchen safety, and vendor management.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain).
