Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: $95,000 to $115,000
- Health Insurance: PPO plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama (60/40 employer/employee split)

Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all operational aspects of hospice services
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards
- Recruit, retain, and develop qualified hospice personnel
- Ensure high-quality patient care through effective interdisciplinary coordination
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate performance and quality improvement programs
- Oversee budget planning and financial management for operational stability
- Establish organizational goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them
- Manage conflict resolution and handle grievances professionally
- Foster effective communication between departments and leadership
- Stay current on hospice trends and ensure staff are clinically updated
- Supervise all admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Ensure services provided by external vendors are consistent and effective
- Report to the Governing Body and ensure accurate documentation and metrics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s in nursing preferred
- 3–5 years of healthcare and/or hospice management experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing preferred
- Strong understanding of Medicare Hospice Certification
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Deep knowledge of hospice care and interdisciplinary service models
