HeartWorks seeks candidates for an Executive Director to provide overall leadership and management of a mission-driven nonprofit in Bayboro, North Carolina. This position is full time and demands a blend of leadership, strategic planning, and operational management. A sincere desire to serve and promote our community is essential to this role. The Executive Director reports to HeartWorks’ Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities include: o Oversight of daily programmatic offerings including 1) StillWaters Counseling, and 2)HeartWorks Afterschool and Summer Learning Program. o Lead and support staff and volunteers, fostering a positive organizational culture. o Oversee facility management of HeartWorks' properties including a mental health counseling center and a youth center.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Experience in nonprofit leadership, education, youth development, and mental health programming is desirable.
• The ability to understand, implement, and manage grant requirements is essential.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are required.
