Executive Director

We are partnering with a leading regional hospice provider to recruit an Executive Director in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This role guides a compassionate care team, overseeing nurses, aides, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers to ensure patients and families receive exceptional end-of-life support.

The Executive Director serves as the leader and strategic guide for the hospice care team, ensuring seamless coordination across clinical and support staff. This role focuses on fostering a collaborative environment, supporting staff growth, and shaping patient and family experiences during end-of-life care. The Executive Director represents the organization in the community and ensures that every aspect of care meets the highest standards of quality and compassion.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and Mentor an Interdisciplinary Hospice Team
• Ensure Compliance With Hospice Regulations and Quality Standards
• Facilitate Communication Between Clinical Staff, Patients, and Families
• Conduct Team Meetings, Document Care Plans, and Update Policies
• Manage Staff Schedules, Performance Reviews, and Foster a Positive Work Culture
• Analyze Quality Metrics and Manage a Patient Caseload as Needed
• Participate in After-Hours and On-call Duties to Maintain Seamless Care

Qualifications:

• Active RN License With 3+ Years of Healthcare Experience (hospice preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Leadership or Management Experience Highly Desirable
• Valid Driver’s License
