Faced with a challenging job market in 1979, Tom Bloom used his residential roofing experience to establish Bloom Roofing. Today, we are searching for a skilled professional capable of providing strategic guidance and leadership to our finance department. This individual will play a pivotal role in steering our financial operations into the future

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Prepare monthly financials, annual budget, misc. state tax filings, and weekly management reports.
2. Participate as member of executive team reviewing strategic goals and recommendations to improve financial strength.
3. Monthly Financial preparation including all Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, Worker’s Comp, and Work in Progress Schedules
4. Create weekly Management Reports
5. Provide inventory control oversight
6. Timely filing of various tax filings
7. Annual budget preparation and budget monitoring
8. Weekly cash flow management
9. Prepare year end reconciliations for CPA reviewed statement
10. Insurance Renewals
11. Maintain Banking Relationship and reporting requirements
12. Understand company policies and procedures and ensure team adheres to them

Requirements:

1. 5 years experience as an executive level Controller
2. Construction accounting knowledge preferred
3. Self-motivated Team player and able to give/take direction
