A full-service Marriott hotel that has consistently exceeded brand standards for more than 31 years

An extensively remodeled property with significant improvements completed over the past four years

We take great pride in being one of Augusta's premier places to stay, and our Housekeeping team plays a critical role in maintaining that reputation.

    What We're Looking For

Our ideal Executive Housekeeper is an experienced, hands-on leader who can inspire a team, maintain exceptional standards, and effectively manage the operational and financial responsibilities of a large, full-service hotel.

You will be responsible for leading the Housekeeping operation and ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and related spaces consistently meet or exceed hotel and brand standards.

    Our ideal leader has:

Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to positively impact associates, motivate performance, and build a strong team culture

The ability to recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable to hotel and brand standards

A strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, labor management, inventory control, and departmental profitability

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with associates, managers, guests, and leadership at all levels of the organization

The ability to work effectively under deadlines, pressure, and changing customer demands while achieving positive outcomes

Proven experience consistently delivering excellent guest experiences and maintaining brand standards

A confident, self-motivated, organized leader who can work independently and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency

The ability to establish team vision and direction while providing the training, tools, and resources necessary to achieve departmental goals

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality

Computer proficiency and the ability to learn and utilize hotel systems and technology

Experience preparing for and successfully completing brand standards inspections and audits

A solid educational background; a college degree is a plus

10 years of housekeeping/cleaning experience, including at least 5 years of direct housekeeping leadership experience in a similar role

Full-service hotel experience; Marriott experience is a plus

A solid and stable work history

Availability to participate in the Manager on Duty rotation

Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as business needs require

Ability to move throughout a large, multi-level hotel and convention space, including the ability to bend, stoop, reach, grab, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to visually inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, and brand standards are consistently met

The flexibility and willingness to perform other duties as needed to support our vision, fulfill our mission, and uphold our organization's values

    Why This Role Matters

The Executive Housekeeper is more than a leader of the Housekeeping department—you are an essential part of the guest experience. Your leadership directly influences the cleanliness, comfort, service, and overall impression guests have of our hotel.

If you are an experienced hospitality leader who takes pride in developing people, maintaining exceptional standards, and creating an outstanding guest experience, we want to hear from you.
