About Our Hotel
We're seeking a professional Executive Housekeeper to positively impact our guest experience every day. Our property is a city block featuring:
374 guest rooms, including 136 suites
Two hotel towers
100,000 square feet of meeting and event space
Three food and beverage venues
11 stories of guest accommodations
Located in downtown Augusta, Georgia, on the Riverwalk
Within walking distance of restaurants, bars, museums, entertainment, and other activities
A full-service Marriott hotel that has consistently exceeded brand standards for more than 31 years
An extensively remodeled property with significant improvements completed over the past four years

What We're Looking For
Our ideal Executive Housekeeper is an experienced, hands-on leader who can inspire a team, maintain exceptional standards, and effectively manage the operational and financial responsibilities of a large, full-service hotel.
You will be responsible for leading the Housekeeping operation and ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and related spaces consistently meet or exceed hotel and brand standards.

Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to positively impact associates, motivate performance, and build a strong team culture
The ability to recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable to hotel and brand standards
A strong understanding of budgets, forecasting, labor management, inventory control, and departmental profitability
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with associates, managers, guests, and leadership at all levels of the organization
The ability to work effectively under deadlines, pressure, and changing customer demands while achieving positive outcomes
Proven experience consistently delivering excellent guest experiences and maintaining brand standards
A confident, self-motivated, organized leader who can work independently and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency
The ability to establish team vision and direction while providing the training, tools, and resources necessary to achieve departmental goals
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and quality
Computer proficiency and the ability to learn and utilize hotel systems and technology
Experience preparing for and successfully completing brand standards inspections and audits
A solid educational background; a college degree is a plus
10 years of housekeeping/cleaning experience, including at least 5 years of direct housekeeping leadership experience in a similar role
Full-service hotel experience; Marriott experience is a plus
A solid and stable work history
Availability to participate in the Manager on Duty rotation
Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as business needs require
Ability to move throughout a large, multi-level hotel and convention space, including the ability to bend, stoop, reach, grab, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to visually inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, and brand standards are consistently met
The flexibility and willingness to perform other duties as needed to support our vision, fulfill our mission, and uphold our organization's values
