This is NOT a CONSULTING position. This in-house full-time career role!!

Why they need your expertise on the team: Company has an entire enterprise data division and need a Lead Architect who can laser focus on enterprise data architecture innovative solutions. Will need someone who can minimize data quality issues, stream legacy data/systems and be an innovative thought leader to introduce new data capabilities into the company. This can include working off of current machine learning and artificial intelligence they have now or other technologies. You will be the SME for the data designs/ER Diagrams to meet the business needs. You don't have to build the model, but be the one to make sure it will fit the solutions for the different internal corporate projects.

Below are what is needed:

• Someone who has a STRONG love for data solutions to corporate strategies and business needs.
• Ability to look at the business needs and understand from what technology is currently in place and what is needed to create a technology stack solution.
• STRONG communication skills in order to do presentations to executives and be able to explain your ideas.
• Strong diagraming skills that are well thought out and organized (can you show it on a whiteboard and have people understand it)
• You have to be super collaborative to work with other groups in data governance and data stewards.
• Experience in building applications, integration, and reporting.
• Experience with databases(Big Data/Hadoop, DB2, NoSQL), database models and design (soup to nuts).
• Modernizing legacy platforms.
• Be able to work with big data and development teams to devise the proper technical stack solutions.
• Strong object oriented methodology experience and development tools.
• SOAP, JDBC, XML, data warehouse tools, ErWin, JAD
• PLUSES: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka etc.
