    Job Description

    • As the Fairmont Gold Attendant your role will be to ensure the smooth operation of the Fairmont Gold Lounge. Beyond the lounge will ensure that all guests needs for food and beverage and any other special requests are met.

    • Maintains the appearance and presentation of any food and or beverage in the lounge and keeps the pantry area spotless, and organized.

    • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.

    • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

    • Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.

    • Maintains the appearance and presentation of any food and or beverage in the lounge.

    • Keeps the pantry area spotless, and organized.

    • Maintains a record of par levels in the honor bar.

    • Requisitions any food and beverage items required.

    • Ensures the Lounge has a home away from home feel, appearing spotless and comfortable.

    • Works with the Fairmont Gold Supervisors to create the best ambience for the guest visiting the lounge.

    • Works with the Fairmont Gold Supervisors to assist with the welcome and departure experience when required.

    • Delivers and removes any food or beverage service to guest rooms.

    • Set up of Breakfast and any food and beverage products as required in the pantry area

    • Pick up all food and beverage and supplies from production area

    • Monitor and remove any trays in the corridors

    • Answer any guest questions

    • Constantly studies and observes guests to learn preferences and follows up with the Fairmont Gold Supervisors.

    • Serves all food and beverage according to the standards of service etiquette and within hygiene, presentation and legal standards.

    • Is available to assist guests with any Internet needs in the Lounge, and is knowledgeable about the Boston area.

    • Constantly communicates with the Fairmont Gold Supervisor to ensure seamless guest service, to anticipate their service needs, learn their preferences and seek to WOW and delight at every opportunity.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required and or related experience preferred.
    • Must have availability to work AM and PM shifts
    • Must have availability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays
    • Long hours sometimes may be required.
    • Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
    • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
    • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
    • Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
    • Must be able to maintain a level or organization and cleanliness.
