Elite Private Chefs is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Executive Chef to assist in overseeing all culinary operations for a principal and their growing businesses. This hands-on role requires exceptional culinary skill, strong organization, and schedule flexibility in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
The Chef will partner with the growing chef team on menu planning and execution, pantry and beverage management, and private events. Professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to respond quickly to changing needs are essential.
Operating like a boutique hotel, this role will require someone with high attention to detail and adaptability, while receiving the benefit of maintaining more traditional business hours in a quickly expanding office environment.
• Plan, prepare, and execute daily meals for principals and additional employees as requested
• Design thoughtful, seasonal menus tailored to individual preferences, dietary needs, and lifestyle
• Oversee menu prep and execution for all meals, events, and special occasions
• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Handle pop-up requests and last-minute changes with efficiency and composure
• Partner with chef team to oversee full pantry operations, including sourcing, ordering, stocking, and rotation of all food and beverage items
• Oversee beverage preferences and inventory, including non-alcoholic and alcoholic selections
• Maintain detailed inventory systems to ensure freshness, availability, and minimal waste
• Ensure immaculate kitchen cleanliness and organization at all times
• Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and health standards
• Maintain clear, professional communication with principal, employees, and management
• Work seamlessly with chef team and support staff, leading by example while collaborating with service teams
• Maintain a flexible schedule based on need, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
• Adjust menus, schedules, and workflows quickly as needs change
• Operate with discretion, humility, and a calm, solution-oriented, no-ego mindset
• Proven experience as a Lead or Executive Chef, preferably in a private household or high-end boutique hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of diverse cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• High energy, adaptable, and service-driven mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong verbal communication skills
