LEGAL SECRETARY/LEGAL ASSISTANTS
Job Description
**Litigation Legal Assistants (Defense & Plaintiff) needed in the greater NOLA area. **Proficiency is required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, a working knowledge of PACER, internet research, and be familiar with a billing software, document management software along with excellent proofreading skills. The ideal candidate will be a great personality, have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with managing attorneys and their high profile clients; provide support for attorneys; maintain case files (electronic & physical documents); accurate typing of correspondence legal documents using shells; transcribing legal documents; scheduling, coordinating & confirming court date appearances, appointments & meetings; inputting of attorney billable hours into billing system and emailing clients their bills; Filing court documents federal & state (fax & electronic).
