    We are seeking an experienced Contract Administration Generalist. - Pay - $70-80k

    Remote outside of some meetings.  - DC Metro Preferred


    The candidate will support our growing business. In particular, the successful candidate will support and report to our Contract Manager.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Contracts department with contract and subcontract administration functions and duties relating to various types of federal government contracts, including Multiple Award Contracts, IDIQ Contracts, Blanket Purchase Agreements, Master Purchase Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Teaming Agreements, and Consulting Agreements

    • Successfully manages vendor relationships where applicable by establishing contacts, developing relationships.

    • Perform contract set-up in firm systems for new awards and modifications

    • Maintain responsibility for ensuring contract documents, including task order awards, modifications, invoices, kick-off meeting checklists, insurances, and other related documents are properly filed

    • Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, compiling, and submitting all contractual reporting requirements for assigned contracts and subcontracts. Works with other departments to ensure reporting is accurate and complete.

    • Applies problem solving techniques, collects pertinent data, brainstorms possibilities and makes recommendations.

    • Responsible for efficient collaboration with all colleagues to ensure customer’s needs are met.

    • Ensure contract and subcontract data is current, accurate and complete.

    • Assists with proposal planning and administration of contracts and subcontracts.

    • Supports closing activities as needed.

    • Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates risk, while working to ensure business goals are achieved.

    • Reviews contract documents and correspondence as part of the analysis of incoming bid requests.

    • Other similar professional duties maybe assigned as needed

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    The successful candidate must be self-driven and possess the analytical skills to resolve challenging contract issues, often through collaboration with the Contract Manager. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to think strategically about the customer's contract and requirements, communication, customer relationship, and compliance solutions.

    • Previous government contract and subcontract administration experience is desired

    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, organization, and time management skills required

    • Solid problem-solving skills

    • Self-driven, highly-motivated, and results oriented is a must

    • Strong knowledge of IT products and services

    • Must be able to work on many different projects at one time in a team environment

    • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) in using and developing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations are required

    • Must be able to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines

    • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment

    • Experience with Deltek Costpoint highly desirable, but not required

    • Understanding of cost accounting standards in federal contracts desired

    • Basic understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations desired

    • Must be willing to support all aspects of Contract and Subcontract Administration

    • Recommend process improvements and contribute to Contracts Agile Team improvement projects

    • Employer will accept a suitable combination of education, training or experience

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or 4+ years relevant experience required

    • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience administering/supporting IDIQ Contracts (MAS/GSA/GWAC Vehicles).

    • Minimum of 2 years of Subcontract Administration experience.

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience with contract closeouts.

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience with monitoring contract and subcontract deliverables.
