    POSITION TITLE: Traveling Superintendent

    PAY STATUS: Non-exempt

    PAY RANGE: $120,000 - $135,000

    LOCATION: Various locations outside the South Florida tri-county area (Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties)

    General Responsibilities: Our Traveling Superintendents are responsible for overseeing construction projects in locations outside the South Florida tri-county area. They ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. Traveling Superintendents coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.

    Significant Duties:

    • Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site.
    • Manage subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project plans and specifications.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
    • Communicate regularly with project managers, providing updates on progress, issues, and potential delays.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
    • Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
    • Manage project budgets and expenses to ensure adherence to financial targets.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
    • Previous experience as a construction superintendent or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
    • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
    • Willingness to travel extensively outside the South Florida tri-county area.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • OSHA 30-Hour certification (preferred).
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.

    Benefits:

    • Competitive base salary ($120,000 - $135,000) plus FWW OT premium for overtime hours.
    • Per diem allowance of $135 per day.
    • Mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for applicable travel.
