    POSITION TITLE: Mechanical Project Manager

    PAY STATUS: Non-exempt

    SUPERVISES:N/A

    SALARY RANGE: $90,000- $105,000

     

     

    General Responsibility:
    A Mechanical Project Manager oversees and manages mechanical construction projects in industrial settings. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.

    Significant Duties:

    Project Management:

    • Plan, execute, and close mechanical construction projects in industrial settings.

    • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

    • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and industrial processes.

    • Coordinate with engineers and technicians to ensure that all mechanical work is performed to industry standards and client specifications.

    • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

    Stakeholder Communication:

    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal team members.

    • Communicate project status, changes, and issues to stakeholders.

    • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by addressing concerns and delivering on project goals.

    Resource Management:

    • Manage and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.

    • Procure necessary materials and equipment within budget constraints.

    • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.

    Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure that all work is performed safely, in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

    • Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.

    • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety concerns.

    Quality Control:

    • Oversee quality control processes to ensure that work is completed to the required standards.

    • Conduct inspections and tests as necessary to verify quality.

    Financial Management:

    • Manage project budgets and track expenditures.

    • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for upper management and clients.

    Requirements/Qualifications:

    The physical requirements for a Mechanical Project Manager in this role can vary depending on the specific project and site conditions. However, general physical requirements may include:

    • Mobility: The ability to move around construction sites, including climbing stairs, ladders, and navigating uneven terrain.
