  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    This position will be located in Norfolk, Virigina

    Provide administrative support for assigned Vice President(s) including but not limited to maintaining the executive's calendar, handling correspondence, maintaining files and records, and coordinating travel arrangements.

    • Receive, screen, and route incoming phone calls; accurately record messages as necessary.
    • Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner; ascertain their business need, provide assistance and/or route visitor to the appropriate contact.
    • Compose correspondence, memos, and other related documents.
    • Maintain records in a standard filing system.
    • Maintain appointments, calendar and schedule for assigned Executive(s).
    • Make travel arrangements.
    • Accurately take dictation, record meeting minutes, and the like.
    • Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports as prescribed or requested.
    • Provide general departmental support such as ordering supplies and returning guest phone calls.
    • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all matters.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of recent and relevant experience.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
    • Must have excellent communication skills.
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
