    Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary leadership team. The Executive Sous Chef is the second-in-command in the kitchen and plays a pivotal role in managing all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes supervising staff, ensuring the highest food quality standards, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining efficient, safe, and cost-effective kitchen practices. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Support the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations

    Manage daily food preparation and service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

    Supervise and lead kitchen staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to standards

    Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation in alignment with brand standards

    Assist with menu planning, development, and execution of specials and seasonal offerings

    Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste through effective kitchen management

    Ensure kitchen safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with local health regulations

    Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff; foster a positive and professional work environment

    Step in for the Executive Chef in their absence to maintain seamless operations

    Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction

    Qualifications

    Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a reputable kitchen

    Culinary degree or equivalent professional training strongly preferred

    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team

    Excellent culinary skills with a creative and quality-focused mindset

    Proficient in kitchen operations, inventory management, and food costing

    Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

    Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
