    About Us

2BGlass is a small, family-run glass studio with a big community presence. We’re best known for our public glassblowing events and our vibrant retail studio, and we ship thousands of handblown pieces each season. Our team moves quickly — not out of chaos, but out of growth and opportunity. Every day brings something new, and we’re looking for someone who finds that exciting.

    About the Role

We’re seeking an Executive & Studio Assistant to the Creative Director — a reliable, self-driven individual who thrives in a hands-on, ever-evolving environment. This hybrid role bridges shipping and fulfillment, studio operations, retail support, event preparation, personal assistance, and light digital communication. You’ll play a central part in keeping the studio organized, ensuring customers feel genuinely cared for, and helping the Creative Director maintain focus and flow across projects and events.

    Key Responsibilities (~70%)

    Core Operational Priorities

Pack, label, and ship online & in-store orders with precision and unwavering hospitality

Order and restock packaging, office, and event supplies; proactively flag low levels

    Store Responsibilities

Oversee displays, labeling, barcoding, inventory tracking, and merchandising in both retail and production areas

Keep retail and back-of-house spaces organized, polished, and reflective of 2BGlass’s high presentation standards

    Product Responsibilities

Perform quality control before sale or shipment

Manage signing, tagging, and accessory assembly (charms, packaging elements, labels)

Sort and stage finished products for display, inventory, and fulfillment

Serve as the first point of contact in the store: greet guests, assist customers, and complete purchases with warmth and professionalism

Maintain a safe, clean environment for our shop dog (fresh water, safe workspace, general awareness)

    Event & Studio Support (~20%)

Participate in seasonal events — setup, teardown, checkout operations, customer engagement, and hospitality

Collaborate closely with the Creative Director daily to prioritize tasks and execute projects that drive company growth

Assist with social media and digital communication, such as replying to customer messages, creating Facebook event pages, and light outreach or follow-up on Instagram or YouTube

    General & Administrative (~10%)

Run business and occasional personal errands (supply pickups, UPS drop-offs, and other time-sensitive needs)

Contribute to team cleaning, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and restroom maintenance

Clean and maintain the breakroom, conference room, and overall studio presentation; water plants and tend to visual details that uphold 2BGlass’s welcoming atmosphere

    Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in operations, fulfillment, retail, or administrative support

Calm, organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-moving, structured, yet quickly-evolving environment — someone who can pivot as priorities shift while staying grounded and positive

Proficient in Google Workspace and Excel, with comfort using or learning Shopify, Etsy, Square, BigCommerce, UPS shipping software, and Adobe Spark

Reliable transportation for errands and event support

Able to lift up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, and perform light tool work

Excellent written and verbal communication; a kind, professional communicator who listens carefully, responds thoughtfully, and helps maintain a culture of hospitality and accountability

Leadership mindset paired with humility — confident enough to take initiative, grounded enough to follow direction precisely

Receptive to firm management and direct feedback; understands that feedback is not criticism but a shared commitment to excellence and safety

Can remain calm under pressure, providing stability and support during busy or high-stakes moments

Strong time management and time efficiency skills — able to prioritize effectively, manage shifting priorities, and maintain focus across multiple tasks

Process-oriented problem solver with a talent for improving workflows in ways that save time and reduce redundancy, not create busywork; finds smarter, faster systems that make the team more effective

Demonstrates loyalty and teamwork — when things get difficult, steps in rather than stepping back

Comfortable working in a family-run business with open communication and occasional candid discussions between partners; stays professional and focused while appreciating the warmth and authenticity of that environment

Comfortable working around and caring for a friendly shop dog
