About the Position
The company is seeking an accomplished Executive Vice President (EVP) of Nuclear Inspection, Quality, and Testing to lead and expand this mission-critical business unit. This senior executive will have full P &L ownership of a $150M+ operation and will oversee strategy, operations, and growth initiatives across the Nuclear & Gas Inspection and Quality business lines.
The EVP will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive operational excellence, revenue growth, and profitability while ensuring compliance with stringent nuclear regulatory standards. This is a highly visible, strategic role requiring deep technical expertise in Nuclear operations —including outage support, O&M, testing, QA/QC, and inspection services—combined with the leadership capability to manage a large-scale organization.
The successful candidate will possess both the executive presence to influence C-Suite and Board-level discussions and the hands-on leadership to guide day-to-day operations, customer relationships, and workforce performance.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements
15+ years of experience in the utility or energy sector , with a focus on Nuclear operations (outage support, O&M, testing, QA/QC, inspection).
8+ years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity, with direct P &L oversight of at least $100M.
Demonstrated success in business growth strategy development and execution.
Deep understanding of Nuclear practices, materials, and operations , including the regulatory environment.
Proven experience overseeing QA/QC programs, outage support, and testing operations.
Strong expertise in contract negotiation, manpower logistics, resource planning, and proposal writing.
Proficiency in using quantitative metrics and performance data to drive efficiency and decision-making.
Executive-level presence with demonstrated experience presenting to Boards of Directors and senior leadership teams.
Technical undergraduate degree (engineering, nuclear science, or related field) and a graduate-level degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent).
