    Job Description

    Exercise Planning Support position involves assisting in the planning, development, and execution of exercises to enhance readiness and training. This role typically focuses on supporting exercise design, scenario development, logistics, and after-action reporting, often working within a larger exercise planning team.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Provide continuity to and in support of the 492 SOW multi-domain theater engagement planning programs and processes.

    • Provide research, analysis, and development assistance to Wing-level planning, policy implementation, and execution of planning functions to facilitate support to Geographic Combatant Command /Theater Special Operations Command operations.

    • Assist and support programmatic activities for the 492 SOW.

    • Assist in the development, drafting and publishing Planning Orders to Wing subordinate units and execution of organizational plans and program objectives supporting current and future operations to include classified Operational Plans, and Continuity of Operations Plans.

    • Assist in the development, coordination, and execution of Hurricane Evacuation plans, formal exercises, joint exercises, Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) exercises and real world events.

    • Conduct cross-functional coordination with Wing logistics planners, to ensure a smooth deployment process for military equipment/personnel tasked via the Global Force Management Allocation Process in support of Joint Combined Exercise Training, Security Cooperation, and DoD named operations.

    • Produce the weekly classified Commanders Update Brief.

    • Prepare reports and presentations (Bullet Background papers, Point Papers, Power Point slide shows) as necessary on SOCOM, AFSOC, and 492 SOW taskers associated with Theater Engagement activities, Non-Standard Aviation (NSAV), Information Operations, and Force Protection.

    • Conduct Wing senior leader planning briefings as required.

    • Provide work area security assistance by coordinating with 96 TW to maintain alarm access list and attend quarterly alarm working group meetings.

    • Maintain accountability for all accountable equipment items.

    • Provide physical security account custodian support. The contractor will act in the capacity as an alternate on all accounts.

    • Assist with development of DCR, OCRs, and multitude of MOUs/MOAs that will be required to facilitate coordination/cooperation between GSUs and Host/Tenant Units

    • Provides support for Lesson Learned and After-Action Report collection for the wing and coordinates with AFSOC A9L.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years AFSOC experience with participation in Joint Exercises
    • Current SECRET security clearance

    Additional Information

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to work on Government contracts.
    • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
