    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Account Services Associate (ASA). ASAs are expected to delight our customers, their partners and insurance agents and exceed their service expectations. ASAs interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and technical support requests about EXIGIS products and services. Under moderate supervision ASAs provide customers with world class customer service through exceptional communication (both verbal and written) and accurately process insurance documents and customer requests utilizing data entry skills, support customer’s service needs including responding to emails, phone calls and chats. While a ASA may have primary responsibilities in specific areas, ASAs are expected to perform any tasks assigned and as business needs dictate.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Deal directly with customers by telephone, e-mail and chat
    • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints and respond promptly
    • Keep detailed records of customer issues and actions taken
    • Follow up on customer interactions
    • Review, audit and transcribe documents in support of customer service needs
    • Maintain accuracy and performance standards for data transcription
    • Direct technical support requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate resource
    • Troubleshooting / Research on reported bugs and issues when reported by customers
    • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
    • Apply customer service skills to accurately provide status to customers, vendors, agent/brokers
    • Show ability to comprehend insurance policies, cancellations, reinstatements, endorsements, reports, and other insurance related documents

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or combination 4+ years’ experience in P&C insurance and customer service
    • Possess a customer service orientation with knowledge of customer support best practices
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
    • An active listener with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute
    • Strong problem solving and analytical mindset with a demonstrable bias toward action
    • Must be proficient with web applications as well as the MS Office suite of applications
    • Candidates must live within 45 minutes of an Exigis office (no relocation will be considered)

    With limited exception, candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America without employer sponsorship, both currently and in the future
