    Job Description

    This position presents an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work alongside a small group of experienced logistics professionals. The CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE will support the operations team in customer service and office management for this fast-growth 3PL focused on last mile delivery services throughout the United States. Our customer service team works part-time in the office and part-time remote.

    Your primary responsibilities would include:

    • TROUBLESHOOTING INBOUND OPERATIONAL ISSUES RECEIVED VIA EMAIL, TELEPHONE AND OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE PORTAL FROM CLIENTS AND CARRIER PARTNERS;
    • VALIDATING DELIVERY PERFORMANCE AND CREATING REPORTING TEMPLATES TO PROVIDE TO CLIENTS; AND
    • ASSISTING OPERATIONS WITH ANALYSIS, TRAINING AND OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS.

    Individuals that would excel in this position would possess the following qualities:

    • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS;
    • FAMILIARITY WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT APPLICATIONS;
    • HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH GOOGLE DOCS;
    • ABOVE AVERAGE KNOWLEDGE OF ALL APPLICATIONS WITHIN MICROSOFT OFFICE.

    In addition, you would benefit greatly from having these skills:

    • KNOWLEDGE OPERATING WITHIN THE LOGISTICS/SUPPLY CHAIN INDUSTRY AND SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WITH 3PL'S;
    • COMFORTABLE WORKING INDEPENDENTLY BUT ALSO ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN A TEAM BASED PROJECTS
    • FAMILIARITY WITH COURIER DISTRIBUTION AND WAREHOUSE & FULFILLMENT OPERATIONS
    • PROFICIENT WITH MICROSOFT EXCEL
    • ABILITY TO WORK FLEXIBLE WORK HOURS, INCLUDING CONTRIBUTING TO WEEKENDS AND AFTER-HOURS AVAILABILITY AS NEEDED.
    • A GENUINE SENSE OF CARING ABOUT PROVIDING THE HIGH QUALITY SERVICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS AND COMMITTING TO THE OVERALL SUCCESS OF THE COMPANY.
    • PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF TMS AND WMS SOFTWARE.
