Hoosier Family Dental is seeking a skilled and motivated Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, team-focused, and passionate about providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced, modern dental practice.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures

Place restorations.

Take dental radiographs (X-rays)

Fabricate and place temporary crowns and restorations

Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms

Maintain accurate clinical charting and documentation

Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for patients

Follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications:

EFDA certification or eligibility required

Dental assisting experience required- At least one year of experience.

Radiology certification required

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to stay organized and efficient in a busy environment
