    Summary

    We are seeking a qualified and caring Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team! As an EFDA, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will provide assistance to the dentist during exams and procedures and complete administrative tasks such as enter notes, create treatment plans, and work with front desk to schedule appointments. The ideal candidate is state certiied as an EFDA and has at least five years of experience.     Responsibilities:

    Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable

    Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have

    Take vital signs and accurately record medical history

    Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures

    Assist dentist during procedures and exams

    Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies

    Enter patient notes & treatment plan in Dentrix

    Collaborate with Frontdesk to schedule appointments

    Coordinate with Lab for labwork

    Take x-rays and CT Scans as needed

    Qualifications

    Certified Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)

    Previous experience at a high-end practice that focuses on implants, and digital smile design

    Strong Dentrix data entry skills

    Excellent communication and customer service skills (bilingual - Spanish or Portuguese preferred)

    Familiar with CEREC crown design & processing

    Familiar with ITERO scanning & Invisalign protocols
