    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide chairside assistance to the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques.

    Take and process dental radiographs.

    Assist in a hospital setting for patients undergoing General Anesthesia.

    Place amalgam and composite restorations.

    Take dental impressions and pour models.

    Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties and answering questions.

    Ensure accurate and complete patient records (treatment planning, medical history).

    Prepare treatment rooms, including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces, and restocking supplies.

    Maintain efficient operations by following policies and procedures and reporting necessary changes.

    Contribute to the overall team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    Minimum of 1 year of Dental Assisting experience

    Expanded Functions certification/license

    Radiology License

    Preferred:

    Coronal Polishing certification

    Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification
