ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE (APRN)
The APRN provides top-notch medical care to patients, including exams, diagnostic tests, and treatment planning under physician supervision. They collaborate with healthcare teams, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain accurate patient records. Key responsibilities include diagnosing, treating acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring patient education, and adhering to ethical standards.
Position requirements:
Certified as a nurse practitioner with current state licensure
At least 1 year of previous professional nursing experience with 1-3 years' experience as a practicing as a primary care nurse practitioner
Prior experience working in an electronic medical records system
Provide 5 Star service in accordance with the company’s mission
Skilled in traditional nursing disciplines of patient assessment and management
ACLS/BLS certification required as mandated by state
Must demonstrate knowledge of the rationale of appropriate patient care
Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Diagnose and manage chronic diseases, such as Diabetes, Atherosclerotic Disease, COPD, CHF, Obesity, etc., in the senior population
The ideal candidate holds nursing certification, has prior experience, and demonstrates proficiency in medical software and patient care. They must possess excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while prioritizing patient well-being and confidentiality.
