Expedient Staffing Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst for an onsite position in Long Island City, NY. Applicants should be prepared for onsite work in Long Island City, NY from day one.
Position: Selected candidate will work with team members to collect and analyze large data sets of raw data and create analytics reporting, data visualizations and support the Lead Data Analyst in providing data solutions.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Working towards or holding a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Computer Programming & Software Development, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering and/or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively tailor technical concepts for less technical audiences.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital skills via certificates and/or certifications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI/ Tableau and BTL Tools.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Understands business processes and end users and how they translate into actionable data.
- Experience with programming languages including but not limited to Python and/or SQL.
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
- Collaborate with team members and/or data systems to collect data.
- Clean, manipulate, and analyze large sets of raw data.
- Create and maintain analytics reporting, data visualizations, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Create dashboards and/or reports to convey the results of data analysis.
- Support Lead Analyst in providing data-driven solutions to key stakeholders.
- Conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement.
- Present clear and concise findings along with recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide end user training, documentation, and support on process and metrics used.
- Learn key analytical skills including data cleaning, analysis, and visualization, tools including spreadsheets and Tableau, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakes, and/or other data storage locations.
Job Types: Full-time contract
Pay: $45.00 - $49.00 per hour
