We're seeking a Transportation Group Manager to work in the Melville, NY area. This role involves managing transportation projects and staff, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and positive client relationships.
Key Duties:
- Establish, monitor, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and staffing.
- Mentor and train staff members.
- Develop and execute business plans.
- Market services to potential clients.
- Engage in professional associations.
- Collaborate with the Long Island Director to achieve department goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- New York PE license.
- 10-15 years' experience in transportation/highway design.
- 5 years' management experience.
- 4 years' business development in transportation.
- Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
- Previous NYSDOT project experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and/or Open Roads software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Experience:
- Work experience in Long Island, NY.
