Job Description

As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our business intelligence (BI) solution as well as assisting with user analytics reporting. This position works with internal customers (PO, Sales, etc.) to develop and deliver timely business intelligence dashboards that help tell the story of our users. As the owner of our BI dashboards, the role must be able to fully manage BI solutions, including data ingestion, ETL and building of proper data visualizations. You must understand how digital analytics works to understand customer behavior across multiple interconnected products. With knowledge in digital analytics, data storytelling and building compelling dashboards you must be able to understand the underlying questions being asked and understand the available analytics data needed to build BI dashboards/reports to deliver the story. You will have a passion of working with building interactive dashboards that tell a story and appreciate how data can transform business. You’ll also have experience working across teams including analytics, marketing and engineering. The candidate must be able to think strategically, but also be able to tactically execute on the requests to ensure insightful dashboards are generated.  

ABOUT THE DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Design, build, and review new and existing BI dashboards 
• Own BI Dashboards using BI Tools like Domo and Power-BI 
• Debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI Solutions 
• Work with Product Owners and customers to understand requirements, validate solutions and troubleshoot issues 
• Build reporting on relevant KPIs across the products to help the business understand user behavior 
• Conduct ad Hoc analysis on a broad array of topics & initiatives 
• Have an understanding of analytics systems best practices. 
• Champion democratizing of BI dashboards across BU and company 
• Leverage analytics API (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) and build automation for analytics reporting and data integration. 
• Maintain documentation (in cooperation with tech team) for BI tool 
• Monitor systems, processes, warning messages and take appropriate actions 
• Understanding of Voice of Customer initiatives using digital survey platforms

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU AND HOW YOU CAN EXCEL IN THIS ROLE

• 3-5 years as an analyst or in comparable support role 
• Must have experience with Domo or similar BI solution 
• Develop Domo reports, stories and dashboards with different analytics views (ad hoc as well as recurring) 
• Implement best practices for Domo dashboard design, publishing and ongoing maintenance 
• Ability to interpret business requirements and develop technical solutions to internal and external systems 
• Working knowledge of Analytics platforms (Adobe/GA) is preferred 
• Experience with digital survey platforms such as Medallia, Survey Gizmo etc. is preferred 
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases 
• Outstanding attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills are a must 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills capable of explaining complexity  
• Own BI Dashboards using BI Tools like Domo and Power-BI to design, build, review and maintain new and existing BI Solutions. Champion democratizing the BI dashboards across BU and company 
• Build reporting on relevant KPIs across the products to help the business understand user behavior. Understand and implement analytics systems best practices, and Voice of Customer initiatives using digital survey platforms 
• Leverage analytics API (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) and build automation for analytics reporting and data integration
• Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan
• Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned
