Moxie is a rapidly growing luxury full-service salon franchise delivering affordable glam in a vibrant, high-energy environment. Our Brentwood location is expanding, and we’re looking for a manager-level stylist who brings both exceptional behind-the-chair talent and strong leadership and operational management capabilities.

What This Role Really Means

This is a dual-role leadership position: *You are an experienced stylist who can confidently deliver top-tier services. *You are also a hands-on manager responsible for leading people, driving performance, and ensuring operational excellence every day.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Salon Management

Lead daily huddles and set the tone for a high-performance, high-energy shift

Train, coach, and mentor stylists and assistants in both technical skill and professional standards

Monitor KPIs, sales goals, membership growth, and productivity metrics

Maintain accountability across the team — reinforcing Moxie policies, culture, and client-first standards

Oversee salon cleanliness, organization, supply levels, and operational readiness

Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance reviews

Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, ensuring timely reporting and consistent communication

Client Services & Technical Excellence

Deliver premium services: cuts, color, balayage, keratin, styling, and extensions (K-tip, weft, I-tip)

Conduct detailed consultations and ensure clients receive an exceptional Moxie experience

Support corrective work, complex color appointments, and advanced service needs as required

Promote memberships, retail products, and add-on services in a professional, client-focused way

Who Thrives in This Role

Required Experience

Valid Tennessee Cosmetology License

5+ years of professional salon experience (preferably high-end or fast-paced)

Demonstrated leadership experience: shift lead, trainer/educator, or assistant manager

Strong people management instincts — firm, fair, consistent

Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making skills

Confidence with POS and booking systems (training provided)

Professional, reliable, and passionate about helping others shine
