About the Role:
Join Jackson Hewitt as an Experience Tax Preparer in Cedar Rapids, IA, where you'll play a vital role in helping clients navigate their tax needs. With a focus on personalized service, you'll ensure that every client feels confident and informed throughout the tax preparation process.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individual clients.
Provide expert advice on tax deductions and credits to maximize client refunds.
Conduct client interviews to gather necessary financial information.

Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of tax preparation experience preferred.
Valid CPA, EA, or tax preparer license is a plus.
Strong knowledge of tax software and tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
